Bio
Tsahi Ben Amram (A.K.A TSAHIK , born in Jerusalem) is a nightlife producer, musical collector and a DJ.
His love for vinyl and decks started at the age of 12. As a teenager he was already spinning records on any dance floor that agreed to give him a chance.
Since then he has become an avid music collector, always striving to achieve the best techniques he could get over the newest equipment. For Tsahi, playing is not only a connection between sections but also live creation of sound textures, harmonies and a unique groove. His endless search for the perfect tune as he collects and combines various sounds, from jazz and soul to industrial music of Detroit, turns into a timeless musical journey.
In 2004 Tsahi opened the Bell wood Bar in Jerusalem which operated until 2020. Bell wood Bar was characterized by fringe music and very quickly became a musical temple for the Jerusalem indie, jazz and funk scene.
In 2007 Tsahi went one step further as he presented the Jerusalem scene his uncompromising love for the clubbing culture in the form of the Gotham Bar - an underground club with an innovative sound system. Gotham hosted electronic music artists from all over the globe on a weekly basis – among them were Kenny Larkin, Shaz Damier, Bart Skiles, 2000 and one, Sonja Moonear, Guy Gerber, Levon Vincent, Tama Somo, Shetfi, Daniel Bell, Dillon Smith and many more.
In 2010 he opened the Jasper Johns on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv - a cocktail and music bar that took the Tel Aviv scene by a storm as it quickly became a home for local, loyal community who enjoyed music ranging from Soulful and House to Drum & Bass, from midnight to mid-day.
In 2021 he opened Bar 12 in the Tel Aviv port - a large industrial space containing two dance floors and a massive sound system.
Nowadays, he produces his own music and continues to play his unique collection worldwide.
